Our Mission

Creative Arts Momentum is a positive in-school and after-school program designed to educate and inspire children through the art of dance and live music. Based on building self-esteem and confidence, we encourage children to express and believe in themselves beyond what they thought capable. The profound impacts of CAM help children’s physical and mental wellbeing that influence all aspects of their lives. CAM establishes focused expression and creates an experience for personal growth with joy. The program culminates with a performance that leaves children with a sense of accomplishment, which builds perseverance that carries over into future endeavors. CAM is an all-inclusive program that emphasizes teamwork and teaches problem solving with life lessons that benefit every student.

Modeled after the pedagogy of the programs Celebrate the Beat and National Dance Institute, CAM offers artistic movement classes accompanied by live music. Classes are energetic and stimulate the mind, body, and spirit. Through kinesthetic learning, CAM has educational themes that focus on literacy, geography, world cultures, and science. Children explore movement and music that have a long lasting effect on how they retain information.
